About the Volunteer Program
The mayaNomics Volunteer Program invites individuals from diverse professional backgrounds to contribute their skills, knowledge, and time to the Forum's mission of advancing geoeconomic intelligence. Volunteers work alongside the core team and member community on research, communications, technology, governance, and diplomatic engagement.
This is an unpaid program. Volunteers are not employees or contractors of mayaNomics Forum and receive no monetary compensation. In recognition of their contribution, volunteers earn mayaNomics Credits at a rate equivalent to 1 CHF per hour of verified work. These credits may be redeemed exclusively for products and services offered directly by mayaNomics Forum — they cannot be used for third-party or partner products.
Where a member of the Forum is willing to trade their own services for mayaNomics Credits rather than monetary payment, credits may also be used to access those member-provided services, subject to mutual agreement.
Volunteers are automatically enrolled as Forum members at the tier appropriate to their qualifications and the nature of their role. Membership entitlements — including voting rights, Body of Knowledge access, and event participation — apply from the date of enrollment.

mayaNomics Credits
Credits are issued at 1 CHF equivalent per verified hour of volunteer contribution. Hours are logged and confirmed by your mayaNomics program coordinator.
Credits are redeemable for products and services offered directly by mayaNomics Forum — including membership upgrades, event registrations, research reports, and platform services.
If a Forum member is willing to accept mayaNomics Credits instead of monetary payment for their own services, you may use credits to access those services — subject to mutual agreement between both parties.

Contribute to the mayaNomics Body of Knowledge by researching trade corridors, capital flow patterns, and sovereign risk dynamics. Produce structured briefs, annotated reading lists, and thematic summaries for working committees.
Support the GeoEconomic Diplomatic Corps by coordinating outreach to diplomatic missions, preparing briefing materials for the 193 Sovereign Envoy Charter, and assisting with protocol documentation for the Global Assembly.
Draft newsletters, social media content, and thought-leadership articles aligned with mayaNomics' geoeconomic voice. Assist with Substack editorial calendar, podcast show notes, and member communications.
Curate, tag, and structure research materials within the mayaNomics Body of Knowledge platform. Develop taxonomy frameworks, review submissions from members, and maintain quality standards for the research library.
Facilitate forum discussions, welcome new members, moderate working committee channels, and help design onboarding experiences that reflect the forum's standards of discourse and professional culture.
Contribute to the mayaNomics digital platform — from UX improvements and feature testing to data pipeline support and API integrations. Collaborate with the core team on technical roadmap items.
Research regulatory frameworks relevant to cross-border investment clubs, GDPR compliance, Swiss association law, and international membership structures. Assist with drafting governance documents and policy briefs.
